Cookie Policy

Effective: September 1, 2026

This policy explains how Tangible Post LLC (“Tangible Post”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in our application, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember you between page loads and visits — keeping you signed in, remembering a preference, or measuring how the site is used. Related technologies such as pixels and local storage do similar jobs, and we treat them the same way in this policy.

Cookies set by us are first-party. Cookies set by a service we embed are third-party.

How we use them

We group the cookies and similar technologies we use into two categories.

Essential — required for the service to work

These keep you signed in, keep your session secure, remember basic display preferences such as language and light or dark appearance, and record which partner referred you so a referral can be credited correctly.

They cannot be switched off through our site, because the service will not function without them. Blocking them in your browser will sign you out and prevent the application from working.

Analytics and marketing

These help us understand how our site and product are used, so we can fix what is broken and improve what is not, and let us send communications to people who have asked for them.

We use two third-party services in this category:

• Google Analytics — measures which pages are used, how people move through the site, and where they run into trouble.
• Klaviyo — records page activity and, for signed-in customers, associates it with the account so we can send our own product and lifecycle emails.

For both, what we record is limited to the page viewed, a general page name and category, and — for signed-in customers — an account identifier.

What we never send them: your email address is never sent to our web analytics provider; and neither service receives your recipients’ names or addresses, your mailing lists, your message text, or your artwork. Web addresses inside the signed-in application are stripped of company names and record identifiers before any analytics data is sent.

What we do not use

We want to be specific here, because most cookie policies are vague about it:

• No advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not run ad pixels, we do not build advertising audiences, and we do not share your browsing with ad networks. If that changes, we will update this policy and give you a way to opt out before turning any advertising tag on.
• No cross-site tracking of mail recipients. People who receive mail are not tracked by us on the web.
• No sale of personal information, and no sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• No session recording. We do not capture video-like recordings of what you see and type.

Cookies set by services we use

Some providers may set their own cookies when their functionality is present — for example our hosting provider on internal preview deployments, our payment processor when you reach checkout for payment security and fraud prevention, and our error-monitoring tool to correlate a session with an error report. Payment happens on our processor’s own hosted page, under its privacy policy.

How to control cookies

In your browser. Every major browser lets you see, block, and delete cookies:
Chrome · Safari · Firefox · Edge

Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, where applicable law requires. Since we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, this changes little in practice — but we honor it.

Do Not Track. We do not respond to DNT headers, because no common standard exists for how to interpret them. We honor GPC instead.

Marketing email. Cookies are separate from email. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them or write to terms@tangiblepost.co. You will still receive transactional messages about your orders and account.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when we add or remove a tool that uses cookies, and we review it at least annually. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where appropriate, notified to you.
